How we hire

We hire people who are experts in their own fields. But just as important, people who are a great fit to join our teams.

1. Apply

Reach out to us, regardless of our open positions. We are always hiring top talent. Who doesn’t want to work with and for superstars!! We look forward to hearing from you on why you’re interested in working with us and what resonates with you. After reviewing your application the hiring team decides whether to invite you to an interview. No matter if that’s the case or not, we will always get back to you with an update. If you don’t currently meet the requirements, LhT will continue to track your application. Hopefully in the near future you have what it takes to be part of our team.

2. Interview

We start off the interviewing phase, by having a brief video call where we get to know each other’s strengths. Don’t worry, we normally ask some simple questions, such as “How did you find out about LIGHTHOUSE TECHNOLOGIES openings?” and “When are you available to join?” etc.

We’re interested in hearing about your technical and skills experience, the kind of work you’ve done previously and individual preference on giving and receiving feedback or how you handle spaghetti projects…Yes they are in every company!

Please keep in mind that, depending on the team and the position you are applying to, the exact number and order of interviews may vary. During all interviews and stages, questions are always welcomed, as well as any kind of relevant information…the more we know the better! So, go ahead, brag a little!

3. Decision

The interviewing journey, as well as the decision, is a two way street. It’s about the candidate making a decision to join the LIGHTHOUSE TECHNOLOGIES team and equally important the LhT team deciding they want to work with the applicant. Once both sides are in agreement, the Hiring Manager will extend the individual an official employment offer letter.

4. You’re hired!

Before the ink is dry on the employment contract, we start with the “on boarding” process. First things first, announcing the great news to LhT team of an oncoming teammate! After the celebration, usually a company luncheon in your honor, we cover the onboarding task list such as administrative and clearance access levels and ensure you have the best start possible! And walla… you are an official LhT superstar!!
